                     History

The original Partners in Crime were formed in the summer of 1983....

Featuring Kev and Alec along with Rob Marston on Vocals, and Mark Bentley on Drums, later joined by
Bert Gould on Keyboards and Tracey Davies on Backing Vocals.

A couple of years later the band changed it's name to Screen Hereos.

During it's existence the band were an ever-present on the Birmingham music scene, notching up an enormous
amount of gigs, developing a huge following and supporting such well known acts as
 Dr Feelgood and Ruby Turner.

After a break of several years, Kev and Alec decided to form a covers band.
They soon recruited Rich on Drums and Gilly Dangerous on vocals and became the
Gilly Dangerous band.

The GDB quickly established themselves as a quality covers band and were regularly gigging
around the Midlands.

2007 saw Emma Skipp taking over Vocal duties and the band reverting to the name of Partners in Crime.
The band then went from strength to strength, supplementing their established pub circuit with corporate gigs,
 parties and weddings.

2009 and Emma moved on to pursue her solo career and three new Vocalist's took over,
Anya, Kat and Nicki.

Several tonnes of finely-tuned well-oiled machinery, ultra hi-tech advanced state-of-the art fighting machine, probably the most efficient piece of modern engineering on the planet, ready to spring into action at a moments notice..…
.....and a Helicopter.

Emma 'mad-dog' Skipp and crew. RAF Odiham, Hampshire. 29th May 08

A day perfectly summed up by Emma's now famous quote:- whilst being shown around the airfield, surrounded by 30-odd Chinook Helicopters, she excitedly tugs on the arm of the high ranking officer and exclaims "ooh look, look, there's one flying over there"!
The look on his face was priceless, "err, yes" he replied, "they can do that".
